What's so scary about Palaces that people use them as haunted places?

Maybe cause, its so huge, and isolated in some parts, people think they're scary!

Useless people, no life.
Then how were people living in those palaces last time -.-

I also want to live in a Palace!
Palaces are awesome, huge and adventurous.
Nice place to play Hide-&-Seek you know!

Then you can have many many people come and stay with you,
and everyone lives together.
Then it'd be so fun!
